OPI Manicure

I blogged about the Yves St Laurent Manicure a little while ago on IAMSUPERGORGE which inspired me to do the OPI Manicure. I suggest 30-45 minutes for the best result, and it's really simple and easy.

Materials needed:
  1. Two OPI Colors
  2. Manicure Strips or Scotch Tape
  3. Base & Top Coat
  4. OPI Correct & Clean up pen(Optional)
Begin by using a base coat. Only use ONE coat because it will help remove your polish in the end. Desired colors:

San Tan-Tonio
Do You Think I'm Tex-y

Step 1
*Please excuse the ashy cuticles

Step 2
Apply your second color
Please be sure to allow enough time for your first coat to dry before applying the strips or tape
Step 3
Apply Top Coat to finish the look
Remove the strip or tape soon as you finish one hand. Then follow up with ONE coat of top coat.

Cleaned my look using the OPI Correct & Clean up pen
You can use a Q-tip (dipped in polish remover) or a nail brush to clean your edges

Other colors used:

Tip: The Color to Watch
Base: Austin-Tatious Turquoise

  4. Very cute!!! I am so excited that TEXAS is the first OPI collection with no formaldehyde or resin so that I can wear it again after developing an allergy.

I have been depressed not to be able to wear OPI-I always knew the day when the next collection was going to be in the stores.

I think it goes on and stays on as well as the previous formulas.

Please OPI, keep it this way for the environment and me :).
